Brian Harrington | Play by Play Annoucer
Brian is a Junior Broadcast News major from Hastings, MN. In his three years at Drake, Brian has called either play-by-play or color commentary for almost every home game for the Men and Women's basketball teams, Women's volleyball, and Roosevelt High School Varsity football teams. Recently, Brian traveled to St. Louis to call the Men's Missouri Valley Conference Basketball Tournament in early March (which Drake won for the first time in school history) and was courtside in St. Charles, MO to call the women's tournament. He would like to thank his family for their support, the crew of the telecast for making this such a great experience, and of course his amazing girlfriend for keeping him sane through the long nights of research that went into this years telecast.

Kayla Jacobsma | Executive Producer
Kayla is a senior TV-Radio and Business major from Pocahontas , IA. This is Kayla's 3 rd year as a producer with the Drake Relays telecast. She is thrilled and honored to have the chance to lead such a dedicated and talented group of students, and has loved (almost!) every minute of it! Kayla's isn't sure of her post-Drake plans just yet, but would like to pursue a career in producing live television. She hopes to make this years telecast the best yet, and hopes everyone enjoys the show!

Joel Fry | Color Commentator
Joel is a Junior Broadcast News major at Drake. This is his second year doing color commentary for the Relays, and he has also done color work for Drake men's and women's basketball games. Joel co-hosts the Drake Sports Talk Hour with Brian Harrington Wednesday nights at 8 on 94-1 the Dog. Joel hosted the Forest Avenue Sportsvine on the College Channel from 2005-2007. After school, Joel hopes to be a sports radio talk show host and own land.

Garrison Rose | Content Producer
Garrison is a senior, Radio-TV major, from Cheshire , CT. Garrison is proud to be the content producer for this year's broadcast of the Drake Relays - America 's Athletic Classic. Working with the Relays for his fourth year, Garrison looks forward to continuing the tradition of the broadcast, while bringing viewers the best coverage of the Drake Relays. The atmosphere of the Drake Relays and the city of Des Moines during this time of year is great. It's a fantastic opportunity for those who can't make it to Drake to watch the broadcast and experience one of America 's finest athletic events.

Anamarie Rebori | Track Reporter
Anamarie is a junior, Broadcast Journalism Major from Lee's Summit , Missouri. This is her third year to be part of the DBS Relays team and is looking forward to all the excitement that comes along with it. Aside from Relays she currently interns at KCCI-TV the CBS affiliate in Des Moines and hopes to someday make reporting her career. She has also interned at WHO-TV and enjoys all that Des Moines news has to offer.

Corrine Lemmage | Technical Producer
Corinne is a senior Radio-TV major from St. Paul . But don't let her hilarious Minnesotan accent throw you off, this girl is SERIOUS about production. She especially loves the technical side of R-TV, especially editing and learning new software applications. This is her second year as a producer for Relays, and fourth year involved with the production. She loves working at Wells Fargo Arena with the Iowa Stars and at State Street Studio with photography and videography.

Zach Tecklenburg | Track Reporter
Zach is a junior Broadcast News major from Humboldt , Iowa . He reports inner field events for the Drake Relays Telecast. You can also catch him anchoring the pre-game show. For the past two years he has covered outer field events and is excited to take on a new challenge this year. Outside of school Zach stays busy working at WHO-TV and eating mass quantities of food.

Alexa Horwart | Co-Coordinating Producer
Alexa is a senior broadcast news and international relations major. She is a transfer student from the University of Minnesota . Alexa is an editor for the Drake Digital News. Alexa also volunteers at a refugee community center in Des Moines , and enjoys going out to movies in her free time (that is if she has any free time!). This year she is the Co-Coordinating Producer for the Relays Telecast. She is really excited to be involved in this opportunity and will work really hard to make this years telecast great!

Tisleen Singh | Field Event Reporter
Tisleen is a sophomore Broadcast News major from Naperville , Illinois . Being arunner in high school, covering the Relays is close to her heart. She is loving the world of broadcasting and has worked with ABC News covering the Iowa debates and will beworking with them again this summer. Right now she is interning at ABC 5 in Des Moines . Tisleen is hoping again for some great weather at this year's Relays and can't wait for the 100th running in 2009.

Tyler Boggess | Co-Coordinating Producer
Tyler is a sophomore Radio/TV major from Kearney , Missouri . He came to Drake because of the hands-on production experience he could gain by working on the Relays Telecast crew. He produced sports broadcasts in high school, which is where he found his passion for broadcast journalism. He's excited to be working as Co-Coordinating Producer and is excited to help make this year's telecast the best ever!

Matt Shattuck | Assistant Play-by-Play/Color Commentator
Matt is a freshman Broadcast News major from Lakeville , Minnesota . He has done play-by play for Drake Bulldog football and basketball as well as Des Moines Roosevelt Roughrider Football on 94.1 �The Dog� KDRA. Matt is a huge Twins, Vikings and Timberwolves fan.

Clay Paciorek | Associate Content Producer
Clay is a sophomore Radio/TV major from Novi , Michigan . He is happy to help continue the production of the famous Drake Relays. This is Clay's second year on the Relays staff and second year as Associate Content Producer. He hopes that he can continue to bring his extensive track & field knowledge and experience to the team. Clay hopes to be able to make the broadcast a successful event and allow the people who can't make it out to the track to see one of America 's finest athletic events.

Danielle Cheever | Assistant Reporter
Danielle is from Johnson County, KS. She is a freshman Journalism and Business double major at Drake. Danielle used to run track as well as broadcast for her high school and knew that broadcasting for the relays would be a great opportunity! Danielle love Drake because of the size, as well as all of the great hands-on opportunities that are presented to students! She does, however, wish she could change the cold, snowy weather!

Sara Block | Associate Technical Producer
Sara is a freshmen majoring in Marketing at Drake University . She is from St. Paul , Minnesota , and like most people from there, has a passion for hockey. Sports as a whole has always been an area of fascination to her and she is amazed by the talent and the skill each athlete possesses. That is why she is thrilled to be able to showcase talented student athletes and show off their skill to others.

Matt Vasilogambros | Assistant Reporter
Matt is a freshman Journalism and Political Science double major. His home town is Arlington Heights , IL , just outside of Chicago . This is his first year with the Relays Telecast, as the assistant outer-field reporter. He also writes for theTimes-Delphic school newspaper, jockeys a radio show on 94-1 The Dog, and is Co-president of the Drake Habitat for Humanity chapter. During the Iowa Caucuses, he worked for ABC News as an intern. Since this is his first year, he is really excited to be a part of this great tradition of Drake and of the Des Moines area.

Rachel Sand | Associate Coordinating Producer
Rachel is a sophomore Broadcast News major who grew up in Okinawa , Japan . This will be her first year ever attending the Relays and can't believe her luck landing a production position with the crew. Rachel currently works at KCCI part time as an Assistant Director and eventually hopes to gain a position working in the newsroom. She is getting married this coming May and after graduation the bride and groom hope to settle in Des Moines where Rachel intends to become established either as a sports or news reporter.

Rachel Yancey | Assistant Reporter
Rachel is a first year student at Drake University double majoring in advertising account management and Radio/TV production. Her first taste of broadcasting came in high school when she did the color commentary for the varsity football games live on air. Three Years have passed since her first radio airtime and she is excited to take the next step to television. Since she was born and raised right here in Des Moines, Rachel knows all about the relays and can't wait to work on this telecast.

Stacy Issen | Sales Director
Stacy is a first year public relations and Radio-TV production major from Wheeling , Illinois . Although she is from the north side, Stacy's loyalties lie with the White Sox who she watches when she's not foot deep in homework or work to do for the Relays. She is very excited to be a part of the production staff for the Drake Relays.
